Not sure what to say?

Dear Lyle was my first love. He always held a special place in my heart...obviously, since years later in 2020 I did a google search to see what happened to him and learned he had died. I read everyone's comments about Lyle. He was a good kind hearted person. We had so much in common, but it didn't work out due to our young ages. It makes me happy to know he had so many friends in life. I am sorry he died at such a young age. I will always treasure my memories of Lyle, especially our...

I worked with and got to know Lyle at Hanover. He was a good friend and a good man. I will miss him and pray for his family.

Lyle was My Best Man and I was his. We traveled to California, then Florida years later. He was my friend and I loved him like a brother. We hunted, partied, got married, worked, & enjoyed lots of enthusiastic 'conversations'. Our points of veiw was sometimes 180 degrees apart, but passionate he was to make his point, and so was I, which made for some loud & lively moments.
My dear friend is gone but his memories are ever strong, and thats what I will take forward.

Sorry to here of Lyle's passing. We shared may great conversations during our younger days.

So very sorry to hear...I will miss seeing and talking with Lyle at the Napoleon Auction. We are all so close but yet so far away...I wish I would have known so I could have paid my respects.

The Lightners were our neighbors in Leoni for years. I have found childhood memories of each of them. Lyle always had a gleam in his eye and a smile for everyone he met. Prayers go out to Dan, Joyce, and Jim. Sorry I can't be there for the mass.

No matter where our paths would lead us, no matter how far the distance or how much time had past, when we would met each other again, Lyle would greet me with a big smile and a warm handshake. Lyle has been a friend to both side of my family (Caler & Wyer) since I can remember. Lyle will truly be missed.

Dear Ruth: Our sympathies to you and the entire Lightner family. We remember Lyle in many special ways, but most of all for his compassion for his friends, familly and co-workers. We enjoyed many lengthy conversations with him. He made an impact on many lives and will be sadly missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, he is truly a good friend and we shared many memorable moments! I will miss him, and may God Bless him!
