Mr. Lingle, my Mother, and Corky helped me to become who I am today. I do not know why, but he saw something in me. He is and always be my hero and role model. I am in education and working with kids because of him and Lingle's. If only all school could be so full of love. When I run my summer program and give scholarships to families in need I do it because he did it for my Mom during the school year. I WAS A STUDENT OF MR.LINGLE'S AND ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW SPECIAL HE MADE ME FEEL. I ALSO REMEMBER THE AWARDS. MY HUSBAND MET HIM AND USED DOLPHIN TROPHIES FOR THE PALMETTO MEN'S GOLF ASSOC. MR. LINGLE CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND GAVE LYLE JR DRUM SET ETC. MY DAUGHTER GOT TROPHIES FOR THE KILLIAN BASKETBALL TEAM ALSO. MAY HE REST IN PEACE, AND OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY. MR. I was a student of Mr. Lingle's between 1978-81, and always remember many things growing up during that time. One of the most important was Lingle's school and the individualized attention from the teachers, especially Mr. Lingle.
I'll always remember the awards ceremonies each year, and how they meant as much to Mr. Lingle, if not more, than to the students ourselves. May he rest in God's care, and my deepest condolences to the family.

My prayers are with you and your family during this time of sadness. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around each of you and may you lean on His everlasting arms. The wonderful memories of your Dad will last forever!

You will be greatly missed, just your smile and hug whenever you saw me at the bowling alley. Out of all the teacher's in school you are the one I remember the best.
I know you are looking down and smiling at all your former student and your family.

Cindi and family, Mr Lingle made me feel so comfortable and at home in your house. I remember taking a speed reading class from him and not feeling intimidated. May God bring you strength
