Bear Hugs

My dad gave the best bear hugs. He'd hug me so hard, I could barely breathe, but I always wanted another. I felt safe when my dad had his arms around me. And when I pray since the day you passed, I put my arms around myself and breathe at last.

A wonderful man whom I took care of for many years. I felt that I was part of his family. Very warm, very caring, a loving husband to his wife, a loving father to his children, and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren. I will always have wonderful memories of you at the VA.

The members of the Stillaguamish Valley Genealogical Society would like to extend our condolences to Elaine, and to Lyle's extended family. Elaine and Lyle spent many hours collecting obituaries and other data pertaining to Snohomish and Skagit County residents. That material has been donated to our library over the years. We cannot express how much we appreciate these donations. They will forever be available at our library to be used by people searching for information on family members...

Angela, our thoughts and prayers are with you! We are so blessed to have one of your father's wood carved crosses! Sending prayers and hugs to you and your family.

My memories of Lyle will always bring a smile - a big brother he was. Will love and miss him always.

You will always be remembered and never forgotten, RIP Dad(lyle) we love you very much.
