I had the privilege of working with Lynda at Grant Elementary from 1991 until she retired. She was a dedicated teacher, and was unwaveringly kind and patient with her students and her colleagues. She was always positive, and managed to lift up those around her. She strived to make circumstances better for all around her. Parents of her students knew how much their children meant to her. My deepest condolences to Lynda's family. I will miss her terribly as she was one of my dearest friends. Her special smile and positive attitude were contagious.
I will miss our walks, our talks, the concerts and festivals that we often attended together.
May God grant her the Peace that she deserves and may he wrap his arms around her as she joins the Heavenly Hosts where there is no sorrow and no pain.
