Lynda, our neighbor extraordinaire, delighted us at parties and lunches. She and we were delighted to celebrate each birthday with the expectation of many more. Music filled her long life, and she enthusiastically shared it and her country home with many. Art on the walls and Art in her heart . We will all miss her.

God has surely blessed Lynda with a long and fruitful life. I worked for her and Art for many years and they were both wonderful, kind and generous! I felt like I knew their extended family from all their stories about them and they were always interested in my family also. My condolences and may you all continue to enjoy the wonderful memories you have of them both!

I was very happy to visit Linda this summer and remember the many happy times at the Copeland house as a teenager in 1960. She and Art presided over an anarchic group of us riding horses, making music and having fun. I was delighted to find her as engaged and vibrant as ever. What a wonderful woman.

God bless Lynda and the Copeland family during this difficult time. I believe it was two years ago, I had the pleasure of playing music with Chris Bakriges at a birthday party for Lynda. Thank you for the honor of being a guest on that special day.

Although we only knew her for a very short time, Lynda made a big impression on us with her humor, intelligence and her most excellent taste in music. So sad to hear of her passing - deepest sympathy to all those that she left behind. We'll be sure to put on some jazz and raise a glass in memory of this remarkable lady. -Rick & Roni

I loved chatting with Lynda at Marlboro Music concerts in the summer! She was always sunny and cheerful and a joy to talk to!
