CHESNEE, S.C.-Lynda Gayle Spakes Painter, 65, of Julie Court, Chesnee, died on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care.

A native of Spartanburg, she was born on Oct. 17, 1949, a daughter of the late Johnny Spakes and Ethel Cartee Spakes Hamrick.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Hicks Grove Baptist Church.
