Not sure what to say?

With deepest sympathy from the Tong Family. (England.) Whilst we do not know Bishop Clayton, we have known Weth. Our greatest work is the work that we do with our children. Knowing Weth and Lisa, we know that this great brother (along with the late Madison and Marion Thomas) performed that work with distinction.

Please accept our love and condolences.

Alan & Gina Tong.

Dr. Clayton enriched the lives of everyone who had the good fortune to know him; his smile lighting up every room he entered, and his kind words bringing joy to all those who had the pleasure of his company. I have so many fond memories of the fun times in the Whittier 5th ward of the 60’s. Thank you all for being a part of those memories.

He was a blessing and an inspiration in our lives. To think of him brings a smile to our face and warmth to our heart. Ken and Jo Mazzanti

Linda and I want to express our sympathy and condolences to Betty and the entire Clayton family at this time of loss. We have memories of times past and acts of kindness of this great family. We know that Whit will be missed by all those who loved him.
Much Love & Blessings, Bob & Linda Nicholls

My first memory of Bishop Clayton was my first Bishop's interview as a deacon. I was petrified but he made me feel comfortable as he explained my duties as a priesthood holder. He always made sure that Elaine and the Hatori boys were well taken care of and he will be greatly missed by us all. I am thankful to have known this man and his beautiful and giving family.

So very sorry to hear of Bishop Claytons passing. Many years ago when my father, Richard Taylor, was very ill, it was Bishop (Dr.) Clayton who admitted him to the hospital and rounded up some of his associates to help diagnose his illness when others failed. My dad was the only man with an OBGYN as his admitting Dr.:) But is was because of that act of kindness and concern that he was diagnoised correctly. May your family feel the Savior's arms during this time of loss and find comfort in your...

I am grateful to Dr. Clayton for being instrumental in placing me in the care of my wonderful parents! I have had a wonderful life and I'm sure he was inspired to connect two wonderful women, one who was too young to care for me and one who desperately wanted me, many years ago. My whole family has been eternally blessed! My condolences to Dr. Clayton's family.

You will always be Bishop Clayton to me. As a youth, I remember your orange grove and how you shared your delicious fruit with many members and friends. We would drink homemade orange juice at ward activities. You allowed the youth of the Whittier 5th ward to decorate your barn and hold dances there. I have many fond memories of you and your family. Always very generous and kind to everyone. I'll see you on the other side Bishop Clayton.

I sure looked up to Bishop Clayton in Whittier fifth Ward. He will surely be missed.
He has a wonderful family. May the Lord give you all comfort at this difficult time. Love, Shirleen Kreutzer Bosen
