Not sure what to say?

Steve and Patty,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't put the pieces together that Mrs. Boyce was your mom, Steve. I remember her from 7th grade math class at Horseheads Jr. High. She taught me a valuable lesson on saving money and I relate this story all the time. I never put the pieces together that she was your mom. It's funny the things you remember about school.

I was a student of Mrs. Boyce back in Horseheads Junior High many years ago and I dare say, she was probably the only teacher who actually helped those of us who struggled with certain math concepts. She was a gem and a strong, beautiful lady. My prayers to your family. I, too, am saddened at her passing. Much love to your family.

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I have fond memories of Mrs. Boyce as my 7th grade math teacher. I remember the patience & kind words of encouragement. May God bless this family in this time of sorrow.

I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Boyce's passing. I was just sitting here remembering her fondly and her patience with me in 7th grade Math class at Jr. High West. I have thought of her many times in the last 38 yrs and her love of lady bugs. They were everywhere in the classroom and if I recall correctly she even had a dress with lady bugs on it. She was a sweet woman and I will never forget her. I am so sorry to the family for your loss of her.

Betty and I are saddened to learn of Lynette's passing. As a former colleague of Lynette's with the Horseheads District, I was fortunate to witness the wit and wisdom that was evident in Lynette's everyday life. Our lives were better having Lynette as as an associate and friend.

My thoughts and prayers go again to the Boyce family.

What sad news to receive today about the death of Lynette and her daughter! She was a devoted math teacher and a caring person. Our prayers go out to the family, but one can only think that she is united with those she loved.
