Not sure what to say?

Lynn: I never thought the last time I would see You and hear Your voice would be at the Carterville parade when You were throwing candy to My Grand Children and calling their names. I thought You would be doing these things for a long time. You were the best teacher, wife mother and grand mother anyone could have. If You wore hats DEAR LADY, You would have a closet full as You were a Lady of many. You were the only lady I knew who could fish a tournament in 95 degree weather, fall out of...

So sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. She was my kindergarten teacher, and though I haven't spoken to her since 1985 she has always been one of the most influential people in my life. She ignited a lifelong love of learning in me and set me on the right path of loving school. Given the personal circumstances in my life at the time, I can't imagine how different my life might have been without her early influence.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lynn's death. I taught with Lynn in the 1970's, and she was my son, Mark's, second grade teacher. She was a wonderful friend and colleague. She will be greatly missed in Carterville.

We just found out about the passing of Lynn and are in total shock. I guess heaven must be in desperate need of great teachers as my father (John Yack) passed away earlier this year. My heart and prayers go out to everyone in her family.

Wish I could be there to say my good-byes. I loved Grandma Lynnie as if she were my own grandmother. She touched my life and my children's lives in so many ways. I will miss her so much. Love you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

May all the love of your friends comfort you at this time. Lynn was a wonderful teacher and she will be missed.

Lynnie will be soooo sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting or knowing her. My mother and Lynnie ran around in high school...and mom would always tell me of some of the silly stories from back then. Lynnie was a hoot my mom would say. She was very special to my family...she had both of my daughters in Poms and I helped with many invitationals at the high school. She was always so kind, funny, and loving with the girls. She defiantly is wearing a crown so loaded with jewels...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
