I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family. I have very fond memories of Mr. Cope, first as my First Ward Little League coach, my teacher and Freshman Basketball coach. I do thank him for taking the time for young people.

Kyle and all of the family,
We were so saddened to read of the passing of your father, Lynn. He and I were best buddies in High school. My wife went to Pen Argyl, but knew him also. Sad that we lost contact with each other after high school. We pass through Columbia several times a year on our way to Charleston and Florida, we could have met had we known he lived near there. He was a great guy and a good friend in our early years. We will remember him always.

Kyle,

I'm shocked and saddened by the news of your dad's passing. So many memories came flooding in. I think about us as kids in the back yard and your dad whistling to let you know it was time for dinner. And him teaching me about the three-second rule in basketball. And when I went with your family to see the Phillies play at the Vet. And how can I forget your dad singing the theme to Star Blazers? That doesn’t even include all the memories in 7th grade history and 8th...

Kyle & family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of your father. Lynn was an inspiration to the teaching profession and much admired. His compassion was evident on a daily basis. I truly enjoyed working with him.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. My children, (Jessica and Jennifer) spoke very highly of Mr Cope and enjoyed being in his classes. He was an excellent teacher and made children look forward to his classes and want to learn. He will be sadly missed.
