I was shocked and saddened to read that my dear high school friend in Japan had passed away, but happy to learn that she had fulfilled her career dreams and also had a wonderful, loving family. She was my role model in so many ways as we participated in Chorus, Pep Club, and Junior Red Cross activities together. I know that she and her beloved husband are reunited, and I look forward to our souls meeting again one day.
