Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to read of your loss. Dr. Eliason taught me my first introduction to Russian in 1976. I took the course on a whim, but his enthusiasm and love for the language and culture were infectious. I've stayed with it ever since and Dr. Eliason deserves at least partial credit for setting me on my career path in the Foreign Service. Lynn was a wonderful man. I always looked forward to dropping in on him when I was back in the U.S. I will miss that. My deepest condolences to you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Eliason's passing. Thanks to him I came to truly love the Russian language. I still remember the poem he taught us, as well as the folk songs we used to sing in class. In fact, I started singing them outside of class. Dr. Eliason deeply touched my life. Because of him, the language of Russian came to symbolize the peoples and cultures who speak it. I will always treasure the memories and experiences that we had in his class. What a wonderful man. :)

I will always my Russian classes at Utah State. I am sorry for your loss. What a great man.

Dear Annette and family. I am sorry for your loss, but I am happpy to have known and travelled with you. I am currently serving a mission in SLC. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Gloria T. Earl

It was an honor to know Lynn. I admired his riding his bike to USU, and I enjoyed his Russian classes. We thought Lynn was one of the nicest people anyone could know.

I will never forget Dr. Eliason's personality, his kindness and understanding. He helped me a lot in my academic success at USU. He will be greatly missed by all of us. My condolences to his family.

I was saddened to hear of Lynn's passing. Growing up in his ward was a great experience and after I returned from my mission he never passed up an opportunity to speak German with me. He is a wonderful man and great example.

Thoughts and prayers to the family.
