Not sure what to say?

We send our condolences for your loss, Ellen. We so enjoyed our times with you and Lynn at Parkway events. We are living in Oregon now and won´t be attending the memorial, but will be thinking of you.

I had the extreme privilege and of being the Hemink´s dog/house-sitter for at least 12 years for their dog Kenzie when they would go on their many travels abroad. Lynn and Ellen are the most welcoming and caring people I have ever known!

So sorry for your loss Ellen. Keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Mary

May Lynn rest in peace; Fresno State sends our sincere sympathies on his passing, and our gratitude for all he did for our University and Valley.

I grew up with Lynn as my hero. The Heminks were our neighbor and our families were one. Lynn and I played catch across our front yards, shot buckets in their garage bucket, golfed, played stick ball and fished for years in Canada. While he was 4 years ahead of me he was one of my best friends. Julie and I were fortunate to visit Lynn and Ellen several times in Fresno and witnessed his brave battle with cancer with Ellen always at his side. I will miss our phone calls but will always have...

Lynn was like my big brother. Our families were essentially one. We played catch across our front lawns, shot buckets on the garage basket, fished in Canada and had memorable picnics with Mrs Hemink famous potato salad. He was 4 years older and was my hero and still is. We were fortunate to visit Lynn and Ellen several times in Fresno and witness his brave battle with cancer with Ellen always at his side. He will be missed by all those who knew him

Condolences to the Hemink family on the loss of a great man I am comforted by many fond memories dating back to SUNY-OSWEGO in the 70's. As a colleague, fellow golfer and community spirited servant , we found much in common. Our families enjoyed down time at Seneca Lake and Vermont and always reserved New Years day for a joyful catchup, coast to coast. May the family also be comforted by memories of his life so well lived.

Lynn was one of those special people who cared for others and made a difference at Fresno State and the Fresno community.

Lynn added value to all people and things. His grace and presence served as an example for everyone who were fortunate to know him.
