Lynn E. Lazarus, Sr., 70, of Germansville, died peacefully Saturday, May 21, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Ilene R. (Miller) Lazarus to whom he was married 48 years. Born in Northampton, April 1, 1952, Lynn was the son of the late Calvin H. and Lorene J. (Roth) Lazarus. He was a lifelong farmer and employed on his family farm, Lazarus Farm and Market, Whitehall. Lynn was a member of the Heidelberg Fish and Game Club, Copeechan Fish and Game Club, and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.


Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Ilene; daughter, April A. Storm of Germansville; sons, Lynn E. Lazarus, Jr. of Germansville, Calvin H. Lazarus, III (Andrea) of Schnecksville; siblings, Grant A. Lazarus (Linda) of Germansville, Carol A. Bennecoff of Kutztown, Gary L. Lazarus (Nancy), Wayne H. Lazarus (Grace) both of Germansville, Gloria J. Bingaman (Daniel) of Tamaqua, Donna H. Strawbridge of Whitehall, Leslie D. Lazarus (Rhonda) of Breinigsville; grandsons, Mason, Logan, Samuel, Levi, Braden, many nieces, nephews, and extended family; predeceased by sisters, Janet M. Lazarus and Susan M. Snyder.


Service: A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309 Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com

We want to express our condolences to Ilene and the entire Lazarus Family. I knew Lynn my entire life going back to high school. A hard working man who always had a smile on his face. He will surely be missed. May the memories of a lifetime comfort you through this difficult time along with knowing that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in Peace my sweet Uncle. Your light shone so brightly that I will see it for all of my days. We wish we could be there in person to hug and kiss you, Auntie and cousins. We send our love and strength to you now.

We were sorry to here of Lynn's passing. We will always remember him coming to the Allentown Fair to support the 4H. He will be greatly missed.
