Not sure what to say?

Lynnie--- You were the best! I will miss your big smile with that huge mustache and your calming words when I was stressed out with life. So many good memories will I cherish from the first time I met you 28 years ago to the last time we saw you here in Milwaukee with Nancy. You were the ultimate host, our best buddy, my calming friend, a wood worker wonder, loyal Packer fan, lover of all that is good in life and someone I will never forget. Thank you for giving us wonderful memories! ...

My condolences to all who had the pleasure of knowing Lynn. I had the pleasure of working for him and the opportunity to talk with him daily. One hell of a great guy! John Bettencourt

Spring Training 2008

300+ softball games over the past 18 years, the beers and conversation that followed, the evenings in your garage standing at the work bench arguing about politics and sports, chili rellenos, your voice in my head as you stood behind me on the tee box, my fantasy football partner, my football pal, my horse shoe partner, my dear friend... you have left a huge void in my life. You left too soon.

Lynn and I were relatives as well as classmates. I don't feel I knew him well but the one thing I do remember is the fact that as kids he and his cousin as well as my brother always got their hair cut at his grandparents house by his grandfather. Guess you can get your haircut but your grandpa again now. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so very saddened to learn of Lynn's untimely passing; he was such a vibrant, humorous, passionate, generous, happy and gentle man, it doesn't seem possible to me that he is no longer with us. Although I only met Lynn as we were both staring down the big Five-O, it felt as though we were lifelong friends.
I will miss him, of course, but I am so grateful to have been blessed to know him.

We are so saddened losing such a wonderful bright and happy friend. Lynn was so considerate and friendly. He would give you the shirt off his back. In fact,if you wished out loud for something, he would do his best to help you achieve that.
What a wonderful host, I will never look at a chile relleno without thinking of the wonderful evenings with Lynn, Nancy, their fascinating friends, great food and wine. We will miss him terribly.

Lynn,
It's been many years.... I can't even begin to remember how many!?!?! One of my "neatest" memories is playing trucks with you in your sandbox, in your backyard when we were 5 years old! We alway argued about who got to be the dump truck driver!! :)

Lynn (Howie) was a great friend from the moment we met at Alice Callen elementary school. We learned our A, B, C's together, collected baseball cards together, looked at our first Playboy together, and on and on. We were best friends and brothers. I raise a glass to you and our friendship.

Lake Sonoma

I will miss Lynns sense of humor and his wine recommendations. We will also miss his participation in the Golf outings and the annual camping trip at Lake Sonoma where we played Bocce for hours on end. Also we will miss him in the Fantasy Football league where he always drafted players from his favorite team the "Packers". In honor of Lynn the trophy will be renamed the "Lynn Leu Memorial Trophy"Rest in peace my friend.
