Lynn Phillips

I got to know Lynn after her son, Dr. Chris Phillips, passed away. Chris and I were colleagues, and collaborators. He spoke of his mother so often that I felt that I knew her. After Chris's death, I sent her a sympathy card, and she contacted me. We struck up a pen-pal relationship which endured until shortly before her death. She was a lovely lady, who will be missed.
