Not sure what to say?

I believe I have the right person but I was on The Lynn Toney cartoon show when I was 7 years old and watched the show all the time. He was a very sweet, kind man and had me come down to talk and do a Pepsi commercial. Just warm memories and my heart goes out to his loved ones

Like so many children during the 1950s, I watched him on "The Lynn Toney Show". I went with my Brownies troop to be on his afternoon show. He really left me and many others with fond memories of him.

I remember him so well, doing so many good deeds. We always watched his show but never had the chance to be on it. I remember going to Morrison's cafeteria on Thursday nights as a kid. He would be there & would draw tickets to give kids prizes, & my younger sister won one night. One 4th of July my parents were on the beach in front of the Casino watching the fireworks with me & my sisters. When it was over & the lights came on, my 2 year old sister was missing. Here it is 2017 and Lynn Toney and the memories of me singing on his show when I was 10 in the 50s I will never forget. Even tho we moved back to SC 1959 I have never forgot this wonderful man who was so kind and brought so much joy to so many . I am 71 and will never forgot him. I found out about his passing just by surfing the internet. Sending my condolences to the Family that he still lives on in a child's memories.

Jan, although the years have slipped by us I will always cherish the days Sunny and I were yours and Lynn's neighbors. Although I certainly knew about "The Lynn Toney Show" and watched it daily when I was a kid, it's the memories of the two of you looking out for my daughter and me that I so often think of and share. Like the time we were visiting you and we were telling Sunny about Mr. Toney's TV show, and he left the room and returned with his leopard suit, saying he'd still wear it...

Tammy,

Though I only vaguely remember your Dad in person, I shall never forget the fame of his name, which now lives on in yours. How awesome is that!

So, as no bond is as great as that between a parent and child, my deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Please stay in touch...

My condolences to the family of Lynn Toney. I was one of the local musicians he allowed to perform on his show. God bless..
