Not sure what to say?

Lynn Wallace was a wonderful person, a great teacher and an excellent physical therapist. Had the great pleasure of working with him on several sports medicine-related projects and grew to appreciate his dedication to the field of physical therapy.

Without Lynn Wallace, I would never have succeeded in Athletic Training. He was a year ahead of me at OSU and knew the pressures of college life well enough that sharing time with me would make a difference. It did, I survived my freshman year.

I was fortunate enough to know Lynn for over 50 years - from Junior High to roommate at OSU to now. What a sweet, gentle, great man! He would do anything for anybody; fantastic person. The world lost a very special person; all our love to his family!

I remember Lynn as a young man when Tom McLaughlin and I hired him to help us get the Rainbow Sports Medicine Center up and running. At the time, we were looking for some one who had credentials as a P.T, and athletic trainer. Lynn was one of 4 people in the country with that background. We hired him away from the U. of Iowa. We started an athletic training program for high school students to improve the care of inner city athletes. Lynn wrote the text book we used. He was very instrumental...

May the God of all comfort be with your Family at this time .I did not no Mr.Wallace but it looks like he was a very nice man.One day soon no one will say I sick.Until that time may God comfort your family.Knowing other care can bring you comfort.Isaiah33:24.

In so many ways Lynn defined the term "gentleman." A gentle and caring man, the consumate professional, he had a genuine interest in people. I experienced that in my encounters with him and feel my life is fuller and richer because of his friendship.

How great our loss to the public who have been treatted and touched by this gentle man. I will miss the conversations with Lynn on theory and his practice of Physical therapy. I always knew where I stood as a professional with Lynn. My prayers and words of comfort to those left to ponder on his great work and civility, he will be remembered by all he taught and met.

I cannot begin to describe the enormous impact Lynn had on me during the 2 years I was in Cleveland. He lead by example and changed forever how I would practice physical therapy. He created an atmosphere where what was best for the patient always came first. Not a day goes by that my experience with Lynn and the other people he chose to have around him doesn't impact how I treat my patients or students. Lynn taught me how to be a "professional" and every day I try to pass those values on...

To the family of Lynn Wallace I extend my deepest sympathy, all though I did not know Mr. Wallace, I am sure that he was a fine person. May you find comfort in the memories of the good times that you all shared. And may the "God of all comfort" be with you.
