Lynwood Good

Lyn certainly lived up to his name--Good. What a GOOD man he was. Very kind and gentle. He and Genny returned to James Madison University, their alma mater, many times, and Lyn came back to a number of reunions following her passing. All of us at JMU are mourning the loss of our friend, Lyn Good.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Lyn's family and friends. Lyn was such a special man, I absolutely adored him. I think anyone who ever met Lyn would fall for his warmth and charm. Lyn wasn't my actual family but I adopted him as a grandfather anyhow. You just can't resist his smoothness. He was a true blessing to us and we will miss him horribly. I may especially miss his wonderful hugs, they were one of a kind. Love you Lyn. Rest in peace my friend.

The Randolph College Community is deeply saddened by Lynn's passing. He was a wonderful, thoughtful and generous friend to the College and particularly the Maier Museum. I personally will miss my visits to his beautiful home in Roseland. He was incredibly kind.

May God wrap you in his arms and give you the strength to get through these next several days. He was a good man and a great neighbor. Lyn, you will sorely missed.
