WORK, Lyric Bryce – Of Grand Blanc, age 20, died Friday, July 29, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Brian D. Grundy officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lyric was born in Flint, Michigan on February 20, 1996.
Surviving are mother Marta and husband Terry Taj;
father, Frederick Work;
two sisters, Gianna Taj and Valine Work;
brother, Josh Work;
daughter, Marley Work-Kindt;
aunts, Nancy Strong, Starla Strong and Dora Kotarski;
uncle, Tim Strong;
grandmother, Sandra Langhamer and many much loved cousins.
I met her once visiting her sister, such a lovely person. Wish i hugged you. Wish i had been there for the funeral.

I couldn't make the funeral and I'm deeply sorry for that. Lyric was a beautiful young lady and she was obviously loved by so many people. I'm in absolute shock that this could happen to her. She didn't deserve this and I can't imagine what her family or Kyle are going through. Lyric fought so Baby Marley could make her way into this world and I know Lyric's going to be watching over her as she grows into a tremendous woman just as Lyric did.
