Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry to hear about pastor Steve. He council me when he was pastor of the Rock Baptist Church about 35 years ago. He helped me as I was going through a very painful divorce. He told me not to be bitter. He was a very good man.

Rest in peace brother Steve. You had such an incredible impact on the Teal family at the Rock when you first arrived with your young family.

Pastor Steve will always hold a special place in our hearts. Pastor Steve Baptized our Daughters at FBC in Peachtree City. He was a great man of God, and he lived it through his actions, and his genuine care and love of people. We Love Jesus and know pastor Steve is in Heaven. Donna and Mike Shelton.

We will miss seeing Steve and Buster on their daily walks in the neighborhood. Always the kindest person to talk to and have as a neighbor.

Thank you Jennie and family for the sacrifices you made so that Steve could minister to others. God’s hand was upon him as he led with a gentle spirit and showed kindness to all. He baptized my daughter and led my boys as pastor at Camp Kaleo which they loved attending. May you feel the love and find comfort in all the memories and blessings shared by all.

I had the distinct honor of serving with Steve during his time as Pastor at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Watkinsville Ga.. We had many great discussions during his time there. He will be greatly missed!! Prayers for Jennie and family for their comfort during this time of need.

Steve was the pastor and friend to George and me at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Watkinsville a few years ago. While there he handed out cards that contained what he said were his three rules for living. I see them displayed in my office every day and remember him -- "Do what is right, do your best, care about people." We're glad Steve was a part of our lives. Helen Bush

In my twenty years serving the Georgia Baptist Convention, I never meet a pastor with more integrity than Steve. He had a heart for serving his Heavenly Father and those in need. My spiritual walk with the Lord was stronger because of the way Steve did “what was right” in the Lord! What a Great Man of God!

Jennie and family,
We first met Steve in 1981when we visited the church that he was serving in as Pastor. He was an amazing preacher and very compassionate, kind, loving pastor, a real shepherd! We were blessed to sit in many classes and trainings that he led which helped us grow spiritually. Steve made a real impact on our lives, our marriage, and our family. We will forever be grateful for his ministry to us. We are especially grateful for your son Brad, our son-in-law.
