I my family watched every episode of Victory at Sea. My father, Joseph Vollkommer, told us Clay Adams was his cousin. Clay Adams mother was a sister of of my father´s mother, Elizabeth (Mae) Lovingham Vollkommer. So sorry to hear his passing.
