I knew Sr. John from her time in Southwest Virginia. An angel on earth and now an angel in heaven. She defined Christianity by her love for people. I would give anything for one more conversation with her. Fly high Sister.

I feel very privileged to have Sister John as my Aunt and adopted God Mother. You see my God parents died when I was very young and as Sister John always did she worried about me not having any around so she adopted me as her God child. Wow! She was the greatest God Mother a girl could ask for. We laughed together, talked together, cried together, and prayed together. We would sit for hours on the phone just talking about life in general and trying to solve all the world's problems as well as...

Our Angel John Bosco
John Bosco knew better than anyone else that love is not what you say, but rather what you do. A bell is not a bell until you ring it, a song is not a song until you sing it, and love is not love until you share it. As we all recall the time that we spent loving John Bosco we should all recall one thing. When you took the time to love her, she took the time to let the world know how much she loved you. She did indeed want the spotlight, but it was always to ring someone else’s bell or to...

Sister John has been an inspiration to me my entire life. As my aunt (my dad - John's sister)she was always interested in both our physical and spiritual needs. She would leave notes of encouragement when she visited me and took a brief nap on my bed. She prayed with me to God to send me a baby when I had been praying for 5 years, and within a month I was pregnant with Justin. Sister John welcomed Craig into the family, even coming to our college graduation. I know she now rests with Our...

To the family of Sr. John Bosco,
I had the distinct honor of knowing Sr John Bosco for her entire professional life that she shared with God and all of us. I was blessed to have been in her first grade class at St Pius her first year of teaching and share the special memories of "the little angel" being supported by our very own angel here on earth. We always were privelged to spend time with her and bask in her warmth and special being and I had no greater honor than to introduce and...

What a joyous and wonderous woman to have known! She was such a beautiful person in the name of God and I thank the Schmidt's for inviting me into their lives to share their wonderful family. I love you all, and you're in our prayers.
Andy and I miss her and will forever be grateful of the beautiful prayer and the crosses she and Sr. Mary gave us on our wedding day. I'm sure there will be crying brides in heaven that she can lend a soft, loving hand to. Her work in His name will continue...

Dear Sister John Bosco:
You will never be forgotten for your acts of kindness that you displayed as you made daily trips to our home during Bill’s illness. Your faithfulness was an inspiration and brought us a source of comfort and strength. Without you and your many visits, we couldn’t have coped. You are a true servant of God. We love you Sister and may you rest in peace.
