Not sure what to say?

Barry continually lives in my memory due to his outgoing personality and dedication to others.

I am so sorry to hear of Barry's passing, he was a wonderful and kind landlord, very patient and empathetic. My sincere sympathy to his family

I was so, so sorry to learn of Barry's death. I went to Granby High School with Barry, Class of 1959. This is when schools were closed in Norfolk due to segregation. Barry was a great guy even back then. Always smiling and with a great attitude. Nothing changed as he grew older. Our paths crossed only a few times after high school, but Barry never changed. Always fun to be with. I also knew Kay back in high school.
Beautiful and a real lady always. My thoughts and prayers go out to you...

As a classmate of Brad's at NA I am writing to express my condolences. I didn't know Mr. Kesser, but from what I know of the son he raised I can only conclude that he was a very special individual, someone who will be deeply missed. Sending my best wishes to the family...

Dear, Dear Kay, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Barry. I noticed the obituary neglected to mention that he was a rabbi too . . . at least in my mind. I will miss his smile, his sparkle, the way he always greeted me so warmly, his intelligence and intuition and, most of all, watching him love you. I am holding you and your family in my heart. With love, Rabbi Roz Mandelberg

Barry, a wonderful man and an even better friend. I will forever remember our travels to Washington Redskins games and attending UVA football contests. "Captain Keystone" will be missed by all that know him.

Dear Kay and family,

Without a doubt Barry was one of the most amazing individuals I've ever known. He could make anyone feel at ease and discuss anything as well. All of my children loved seeing him--especially right before he was ready to go running in the morning. He was a phenomenal role model. He was a true citizen of the world and will be greatly missed. Much love to all of you. Linda

Dear Kay and family
I am distraught at the news of Barry's passing. Though away from home for many years, I miss the warm fellowship and love of those days. Barry could keep us laughing while trouncing me in Monopoly or pushing me overboard in the Lafayette River. I truly regret not staying in touch. Sending my profound condolences,
