I was a student in Mrs. Scott's 6th grade class at Westwood Elementary School in 1963. She was by far my best and favorite teacher of my developmental years (K-8). Mrs. Scott was kind, smart, inspiring, wise, caring and beautiful. My first crush. I learned how to speak up for myself in her class along with all the academics.
