I just "tripped" across this notice and I am sorry to hear of Alice's passing, but happy to know she had a long life. She was a neighbor of ours back in the 50's and 60's. Always smiling / always helping. When Burncoat High School was being built, many of us had to attend North High from noon until 5:00 p.m. In winter, we would then stand in the snowstorms waiting for city buses - and some of the drivers would not stop if the bus were full (which was often - at 5:15 p.m.) - Unless Alice...

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time. Alice was a very dear friend of my mother, Esperanza Marchalewicz. She was a great neighbor to us, loved those cheese cakes, and a very great friend. We will always remember her smile and keep her in our hearts.

Dear Debbie & Family,

Sincerely,
Tracy Picardi

My Great Aunt will be sadly missed. It has been my joy to care for her all these years. I will miss the entertaining visits to her in the nursing home.
