Dear Paul, Deak, and Family,
When you know the son, you know the father. What a fine man Jack must have been--wise, talented, devoted, helpful, supportive. Our sympathy extends to you at this difficult time.

Walking at Washington Square
We got to know Jack and Mary walking at Washington Square in the early AM and had the opportunity to share a few meals with them over the years. We also were lucky to have helped with a few projects. We will miss Jack's radiant smile and subtle sense of humor.

In 1985 when I began as Executive Director of Fresno Metro Ministry, California, Jack was a member of the Metro Board of Directors. It was primarily Jack's vision for the future of Fresno Metro Ministry that I took as my "marching orders". I was always appreciative of Jack.
