Not sure what to say?

Gray was a delightful person, interested in all kinds of art and culture. I especially appreciated that when I was overseas, she took my brother in after his divorce and he had no place to live. For that I will always be grateful.

Gray Weingarten shared her love of literature and travel with both my daughters, Gretchen and Amy. They loved coming to the library and she helped them build their love for reading and for adventure. They loved the puppets and marionettes that she shared with them. She was a person that you would never forget. She had so much to share and she did it with a wonderful sense of wonder and excitement. I loved getting to know her and she was a wonderful person. She loved you all so much and that...

I was a transfer student from LeMoyne and if it weren't for you and Mr. "D" I honestly don't know where I would be today. The both of you opened up two very important aspects of my life, music and literature. For that, I am eternally grateful. Mrs. Weingarten used to let me "help" her in the library during my free time(I still remember the card catalog filing system).Rest in peace Mrs. Weingarten you were quite the incredible person !

Thank you Mrs Weingarten for all the childhood memories from the magic carpet as you read us stories to the puppet show she created to teach imagination and most importantly the many benefits of a library and how to use them. I can only wish to touch so many lives the way she did. RIP

Being part of Gray's world was a gift for us all. May the great memories she made in your lives be a comfort to you.

I taught at Lyncourt School when Gray was the librarian there. I really loved her chutzpah and will be eternally grateful for her defiance of the rule that female staff were forbidden from wearing pant suits. She courageously marched into school one day sporting a lovely pant suit. Soon after the entire female faculty followed suit. However, Gray was the brave soul who got it all going. She made visiting the library an exciting adventure for all the kids. She was an innovator of the best...

What a wonderful,fascinating woman.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. May knowing that our Heavenly Father understands your grief and that He cares for you, bring you a measure of comfort and peace.

1 Peter 5:6,7

The world is a little smaller without her.
