Sr. Mary Michael was my 7th grade teacher. She had a tremendous influence on the many students who came through St. Rita's. I especially admire not only her but the countless sisters that were part of the Sisters of Charity order based at our school. God bless you all for truly doing God's work.

We are all saddened by the passing of Sister Mary Michael.
The impact that she had on the youth who spent their childhood on Milwaukee's East Side was far reaching and incalculable. She was teacher, mentor, enforcer, and mother figure.
