M. Helen Wade

M. Helen Wade, 82, of North Tazewell, Virginia, formerly of Kegley, died peacefully Saturday evening, July 17, 2010 at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Virginia. Born June 11, 1928, at Itmann, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Cowan and Marguerite Virginia Bush Cowen. Mrs. Wade was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Kegley United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Hampton Wade, a granddaughter, Amber Lynn Ford and her brother, Calvin Carroll Ford Cowan. Survivors include, Two children and their spouses, Donald R. & Amanda Wade of North Tazewell, VA Karen & Allen Ford of Fredericksburg, VA Three Grandchildren Phillips Allen Ford & wife April of Blacksburg VA Donald Ryan Wade & wife Bridget of Tazewell VA Courtney Noelle Wade of North Tazewell VA Sister in law, Dorothy Cowan of Abingdon VA Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. today (Tuesday) from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Dwight Eads officiating. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
