Not sure what to say?

Mabel was a wonderful person who richly blessed my life & the lives of my children. She will be truly missed.

Mrs. Behrens was an inspiration to me through her grace, kindness, and caring for others. We were first introduced through her participation with the HOBY program supported by the Goochland Women's Club. Her spirit was infectious as she touched the lives of many students in our county. Although I wish I could have known her longer, I feel blessed to have known her at all.

I never had a chance to know Mabel very well but she was the wife of an old Army pilot and I am a son of an old Army pilot so when we met, we got along just well. Mabel was a very articulate person who was very sharp and very simple at the same time. She was simply a doll and I will personally miss my conversations that I had with her at the old Army pilot gatherings. I wish your entire family the best and let's not forget, Mabel is watching! Donna - So sorry for your loss. Although I never met her I remember you speaking of her. She sounds like she was such a special lady and did many wonderful things to help other people. Although, I can't imagine your pain and sorrow, I am sure your memories will be with you forever. Take Care Staci and Eric Hartman

Mabel Behrens was an inspiration to all who knew her. She volunteered each week at the Goochland Branch Library for many years and we always enjoyed having her with us. She was a joy, an inspiration, and a great storyteller. We have lost a beautiful lady whose joy in serving others helps us all to have a better understanding of what it means to live a good life. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. "B" will be greatly missed by ALL of the teachers and students of Goochland Elementary School. She has read to children and then to their children when they became students here. We all loved her and will miss her so much!
