Mabel Bell Denton

Mabel Bell Denton, 96, of a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Tennessee, a faithful member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church, passed away at Life Care Center of Jefferson City, Tennessee, on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 17, 2000. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2000, 7-9 p.m., at Mayes Mortuary, 444 West Main Street, Morristown, Tennessee. The body will lie in state on Friday, October 20, 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m., at White Oak Grove Baptist Church, Morristown. Services will be officiated by the Revs. Joe Gibson, Marvin Phillips, and Larry Rednower. Interment will be at Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to White Oak Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3432, Morristown, TN 37815.
