Not sure what to say?

Duke...I just tried leaving a message but fear it didn't get through. Just wanted to let you know what a deep chord your loss struck with me in light of the way in which you cam forward after my losing my Mom this past year. Clearly a reflection of the influence of this wonderful woman on her son.

In Judaism we have a saying, L'Dor v Dor...from generation to generation...and so it is no different here.

If you are in Erie this weekend...Feb. 3... please let me know, as...

Dave, Duke, and Lyn,
I know how difficult it is to lose your mom, but believe she will always be with you in spirit. I have such fond memories of all of you and the good times we shared together. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I ask God to comfort your during this difficult time. Love you cousins!

Aloha Duke, There is an Eskimo saying:
Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven, where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy...with you in spirit, Pat

Duke,
I was so sorry to read about the the loss of your mom and very sorry that I had never met her. She was a beautiful woman in every way. I'm sure she was very proud of you. "Love does not die, people do".I hope there is some comfort in knowing that her love will always be with you. Suzanne

My mother got to know Mabel very well when she took care of Bill, she was a wonderful lady and she will be missed.

Duke, I was sorry to hear that your mother passed away, and please accept my sympathy. It's hard to lose a parent; I miss and think fondly of my mother every day. and I know you will as well. Again, my condolences to you and your family.

Duke, I and our Academy classmates extend our sympathy on the passing of your mother. She was a delightful and intelligent woman, and it was a pleasure getting to meet her when you were in Erie in May. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Chuck Pora, Academy H.S. Class of 1964

Duke, I was a neighbor of your family while we lived on Cascade St., Erie. I remember your mother and father fondly and her obituary describes her perfectly - beautiful and energetic. I am sorry for your loss.

Duke, sorry to see the loss of your mom. I saw the picture of you two in the Academy FB section and the picture of her reminded me of my mom. Nice to see you stayed in touch with her.
