Dear Linda, Janet and Family,
I was saddened for you, but joyful for Aunt Mabel, when Sandy told me of her homecoming with her Lord and Savior Jesus. So many wonderful memories...I hold them in my heart and they are too numerous to put in writing. Mabel was the quintessential Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, a beautiful and gracious women of God. Her home was a welcoming place of refuge, warmth, good cooking and laughter. I always loved being there and always felt like it was my home...

Linda, Janet and family: I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a kind and wonderful lady whom I admired very much.

Cousins Linda and Janet,

Although I've been away for so many years, I've never forgotten the wonderful times w/ your Mom and Dad at Thanksgiving, and at Advent Christian Church. I'm also so glad that Rhonda and I were able to see your Mom (Linda too)a few years ago, when we were up that way.

Please accept our heartfelt prayers and thoughts for you both and your families during this time of loss, grief and sorrow.

We wish you love and peace. May your memories be with you always. Aunt Mabel was a loving and beautiful woman who always had a smile on her face. Even when we visited in her last few months, she radiated her genteel selflessness. I too remember Thanksgiving suppers with the fire roaring and eating the most delicious leftovers! I always looked forward to sleepovers at Aunt Mabel & Uncle Lester's home -- a house full of music and love. She will be missed.

Dear Linda, Janet, and families, My mom (Arthena Chapman) and I are so sad to hear of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.
