Read MoreMrs. Hiltpold was my 6th grade teacher at Plunkett School. She instilled an interest in current events that has lasted to today. At age 11 we followed the Suez Canal crisis, the Hungarian Revolution and the 1956 Presidential election. She proudly spoke of her sons. My deepest condolences to the family.

I am saddened to hear that Mabel has passed away. I worked with her at Egremont for many years. She was lively and very helpful to all. I hope that she will find peace in her new assignment.
