Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Mabel Moody:
I just heard about Mabel's death. I am very sorry for your loss. I know this must have been a difficult holiday season for you. I have been thinking about Mabel and all the holidays we shared as neighbors in North Kansas City.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Mabel passing, She was a wonderful person.
I am glad I was able to see her in June when we were in Kansas City.
Sorry I could not attend her service.
