I too am saddened by Mabel's passing. I got to know her and Fred when I married into the family having a cottage next door at Long Lake. For several years our children were very blessed in having grandparents at home, in Gaylord and having Mabel and Fred's love, fun and guidance at the cottage. Our oldest, Rena, now married, living and working in New York City was especially fond of 'Mabel up at Long Lake'. We indeed were all very blessed to have known and spent time with her.
