Mabel Sheckles

I treasure the memory of your visit to L.A. in 1987 where you met my Children, Your 3rd Cousins,who to this day thought we were the same age , despite there being a 30 year difference. Your inside and outside beauty kept you forever Young.

As pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, I visited Mabel every few months. I so enjoyed our chats about worship, church music and churches. She was and is a gracious, elegant and truly beautiful spiritual woman. I will miss our visits yet trust we will see each other again someday.

Thank you for being a good friend, Miss Sheckles. You will be forever in my heart. I love you and I will be missing you.

Brian and I are so happy to have enjoyed Aunt Mabels 98th birthday. We only have great memories of her life. We extend our condolences to Judy and the family. Love Always

A favorite cousin of my Mother, Essie, I will miss her dearly. Memories of her delightful stories will continue to bring a smile to my face. Mabel lived life to the fullest and was thankful for each day she was among us. We love you, Mabel.
