BOND, Mable Smith, of Grafton, West Virginia, passed to the Lord on June 4, 2011. She was 87 years old. She was the loving mother of Parvin Lance Sinclair, James A. and Sandra Lance, Sally Lance Hardin, Charles R. "Mickey" Lance and Joyce Swaner Atkins; grandmother of Jeffrey S. and Holly Atkins and Mark D. Atkins, Bethany Ezell, James A. Knicely and Gary Hardin; great-grandmother to Jason Atkins and Angela, Beau and Luke Ezell, Harleigh and Skylar Knicely. She was the daughter of Clifford and Sallie Smith; and beloved sister to Marie Gutekenst, Mildred Knicely, Lula Watkins, Flora Nestor, Howard, Clyde and Charles "Red" Smith; and Richard and Adell Martin, who were cousins raised as siblings. Mable was, during her life, at times a stay-at-home mother, world traveler, salesperson, office manager and credit collector. Loved by all that knew her, she will be terribly missed. Special thanks to The Henrico Health and Rehabilitation Center, whose loving kindness was a blessing to Mable and family during her final weeks. A celebration of her life will be held at Iron Bridge Baptist Church, 10900 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Va., on Friday, June 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Please come with stories of how Mable impacted your life. A short memorial service will be held around 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Missionary Fund at Iron Bridge Baptist Church, 10900 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Va. 23832.
