Not sure what to say?

Big Momma you are gone but not forgotten. I loved you as if you were my own grandmother. My prayers goes out and up for the Chapman family. I remember when I used to go by big momma and she showed me and my children much love even when Leon and I wasn't together. When Terenza emailed me and told me that big momma had died I was sadden. I am so sorry that I couldn't come to say my farewell to you but I love you big momma you are and will always be well loved by me and many.

My Grandmother was a phenomenal woman and she will be missed dearly but we know that she is in a better place watching over us. Her Legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. Grandmother Love You and We Miss You....

To Deborah and Family,
God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw Aunt Mable's tired face. He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed her weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose her But she didn’t go alone, For part of us went with her The day God called...

Deborah,
God is good, he is loving, patient, and never give us no more then we can bear. Trust in him he will heal all your pain and sorrows. You loved and served your mother to the end have no regrets. God said now it's my turn. God open his wings and the door to heaven to welcome her. May Mrs. Mable V. Chapman (Big Mama, Queen) rest in pease.

God be with you Deborah and your Family

Deborah,

To think, I'd just been in your office on the very day your mother passed. From a few of the expressions in the guest book, I gather your mother was quite the woman. Think of how blessed you were to have her as your Mother. Continue to always carry her essence in your heart, and you will feel her presence daily.

Remember, earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Lift up your eyes to the hills from whence cometh your help.

God Be With You and...

Deborah,

I found out just today at 12 noon that your mother died. You have my deepest condolences. Please forgive me for not being there.

I will be in touch.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I grew up at 3704 Earhart Blvd., next door to the Chapman family. I remember you as a big loving family. Ms. Mable was a hard working lady and Mr. Terry was a kind, helpful man to everyone on our block. I extend sympathy to the family as you mourn the passing of your loved one. I pray God's grace will give you peace and your wonderful memories will give you joy.

Mable Chapamn a/k/a BIG MAMA:
I admired the way she kept herself looking good all the time…. LOL. Big Mama loved to get her hair done and buy beautiful clothes and get attention and she did just that, she was 91 years old still wearing heals. Now tell me that isn’t a DIVA for you. My daughter (who is one of Big Mama’s great grandchildren) still talks about how Big Mama could dance, she was amazed to see her great grandmother getting down. Big Mama has lived a fulfilled life and now she...
