JACKSONVILLE — Mable Lewis Williams, 93, died Wednesday Nov. 14, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice House in Goldsboro. She was born June 30, 1926 daughter of the late, Elliot and Gertrude Lewis.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans...

Mable was a wonderful, caring woman who always had a smile and something funny to say. I've known Mable for over 30 years and during that time I became fast friends with her husband Rocky and spoke often of her Sampson County friends and relatives. I will miss our weekly chats and I am sure that feeling is felt by the dozens of good friends she acquired over the years. God keep you and Rest in Peace Mable.
