Dear family of Mac Turner,

I was blessed to have met Mr. Turner through his daughter and son-in-law, my dear friends John and Caryn Cowger. Mr. Turner lit up a room with his radiant personality and love for life and people. I will treasure the various "Yiddish" phrases that were taught to me by Mr. Turner on his visits to the Cowgers home in Cedar Falls.
He leaves behind a rich legacy that I know will continue in the lives of his family members.
My thoughts and prayers are with...

Dear Steve, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear father. You and your family are in our thoughts and hearts during this very difficult time. Love, Jean DeLio

Dear Edith,

Mac was a wonderful person and we have wonderful memories of him and you. We send our condolences and will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Lana and Dani,

Mike and i are so sorry to hear about the passing of your father Lana. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult period.

Dear John, Caryn, Sari & David,
We didn't know Mac personally, but we feel as though we came to know and love him over the years, through your eyes; he was a very special person. Our hearts and our prayers are with you and the rest of the extended Turner family during this time.

Steve,
I am so sorry for your loss and for that of your family.
Your eulogy was outstanding and I am sure Jean will be sad that she was out of town .
I tried to get up closer to give my personal condolences but you were surrounded by family.
Again my condolences and best wishes
to you and yours.

Caryn & John,
Even though we didn't have the privilege of knowing your father...we do know a very precious part of his legacy, Caryn.....YOU! What an amazing man to have grown(well..almost!)...a daughter with such an amazing heart!!
I do feel fortunate that the Lemons were able to bless his heart with the love of our Lord through song...and he never forgot that...
We're hugging you with our thoughts, prayers & love...

Dear John, Caryn, David and Sara,
You have been in our hearts and prayers during this difficult journey. What a heritage this wonderful man has passed on to you! We were so blessed to have gotten to know him. We will continue to lift your family in prayer, and especially Edith in this sad loss. We love you all so dearly.
