Mack served as Director of the Great Characters Bible Study Class when Helene and I first joined Second Baptist Church two weeks after we had moved to Houston from Seattle in 1992. We met Mack and Beverly and a host of new friends in the Welcome Visitors time after worship and felt immediately welcomed into the Second family. We were no longer strangers in a new city but part of a 'family' group immediately. Mack and Beverly impacted our lives forever. Mack, you are missed but very close...
