Not sure what to say?

Apart from being an excellent scientist, a distinguished professor and a well-respected member of our community, Dr Breazeale will above all remain an example to many of us of how a person can be so great and be so good.

Everyone who ever had the privilege to know Dr Breazeale personally will carry him in their hearts forever. He was brilliant, he was a gentleman and he was a scientific father to every scientist working with him.

He will be missed by many but his scientific contribution to the world and his impact on his students will be carried on forever.

I will never forget Dr. Breazeale discussing holograms with me in his office, then attending my high school senior science fair at South High. I had him for a class at UT while getting my undergraduate degree in physics, and always had the utmost respect for him. He will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with the family. We are friends of William, and A.J.'s niece Seanna Wray (Baltimore) knows William from their time at Johns Hopkins University.

Though it has been many, many years since I have seen Mack. It still saddens me that he has died. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I am a distant cousin and knowing that he has joined the rest of our loving family brings comfort. (Mack's father and my grandmother, Antaline, were brother and sister.)
