Mack Hawthorne, 72, of Beaumont, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Oakmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Humble, Texas. 


The celebration of his life and legacy will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church located at 2725 W. Virginia Street, Beaumont, TX 77705.  A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, Social Distancing and Facial Masks are required and a visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church with Military Honors burial service at the Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Houston, Texas, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. 


His life, love and laughter will be forever cherished in the lives of his 10 children, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings, and a host of extended family, friends and ministry partners from around the country.
