My condolences to all of Mack's family. I have known him since high school, and have always had the utmost respect for him. I especially admired the courage with which he battled his illness over the past few years. I enjoyed getting reacquainted with him in recent years as we attended Red Elephant Club meetings together.
I will not be able to attend the funeral as I just lost my wife two months ago, and I'm just not emotionally ready for another funeral service yet. However, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Blessings, Earl Lewis

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Mack. He contributed so much to HUD and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. Keeping the family in my prayers at this time of deep sadness.

We know the pain in your hearts, it is pain we have felt and know all too well. How blessed you have been to keep your loved one this long. Somehow the pain does ease to some extent....but the precious memories live on and on, and I know you have many of Papa Mack. We pray that the Lord blesses you with his precious peace, grace and mercy. We are praying for you and love you all. God speed Papa Mack....fly high.
