Not sure what to say?

A first-class mentor and a marvelous punster! Made Algebra fun and understandable.

Mac was truly a great teacher and a great guy.

He was one of the best teachers I ever had, and a mentor as well. Algebra was certainly not my long suit, and the fact that he got me interested in it was a significant accomplishment. He coached me in football, and continued to provide inspiration through the years. My sense of loss is tempered by the joy of seeing him for the last time at our 50th class reunion in October. He will be missed by all who met him, myself included.

Mac Jacoby and me in 1968. Very fond memories!

One of the great teachers I have ever had. He was inspiring in all ways.

Thanks for everything Mac!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Maclear Jacoby Jr. May you be comforted in knowing that our Heavenly Father cares for you. He will give you strength and courage to cope with your grief.
Psalm 94:17-19

I worked together with Mac for two summers at Bill Tripletts Camp Wachusett in Holderness, New Hampshire. Those were wonderful, wonderful days.

RIP Mac !

I was in the very first class he taught, 6th grade 1955-56, at Landon School in Bethesda MD, and several more math & science classes in following years. He was very much a mentor and friend to me for many years after that. There is not room for me to say all the good things I have to say about him. So, RIP Mac !
