Not sure what to say?

The Muskogee Central High School Class of 1948 has remained fairly close due to the dilegence of some of our classmates. It is with sorrow that we have notified our classmates via e-mail of Mac's death. Our condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren.

We had the privilege of meeting Mac on only two occasions and he made an impression on us forever. He was a dynamic, intelligent and kind man who shared Middle Bass Island with us through a visit and special stories while there. We send our prayers and sympathy to Carol and family.

Since our family relocated to the country with my grandfather, I biked to his big house in the town of Muskogee, OK as much as possible as a boy. Mac's house was located on paved roads and had sidewalks. We spent many happy hours together biking and running races. He was a great boyhood friend. With condolences to his family, Gene Conley

out of 26 years in nursing, only a handful of patients have touched my heart the way your husband and father did. it was my priviledge to have met and taken care of Mac. I am sorry for the outcome but he will always remain in my heart.
thank you for everything and take care

Mac has been our island neighbor and friend for many years. I will miss seeing him first thing in the morning on the porch reading his newspaper and having an early morning visit. He has been a friend to many and large part of island life. Sincere sympathy to his loving family. There will not be a day that goes by that I don't miss the sound of the golf cart annoucing his arrival to the Doll House.
