Madeleine Janover

Ms. Janover was our children's beloved TAG teacher. Full of wisdom and understanding, she succeeded in teaching Lukas and Charlotte many life lessons. The whole family really liked her. Many times we ran into her at Barnes & Nobles, always ready to talk about life, politics and her wonderful daughter Claira. We will miss her, and keep her in our memories.

Ms. Janover was the kind of teacher who changes lives and I am so grateful my son was lucky enough to be her student for a year. She truly saw him and valued him in a way that will always stay with him. I am thinking about her lovely daughter and all who loved her- it is a tremendous loss.

Dear Claira, I am very sad about the death of your mom. She was very proud of you. I remember when you first moved to New Haven and she brought you to me. She will be missed dearly by my son and I. She was my son's TAG teacher and he loved her. When I met her she was the sweetest person I ever met and her love for teaching showed. R.I.P Ms Janover
