Not sure what to say?

Madeleine was my 9th grade English teacher at Clague Junior High. When I attended Huron High School, she was not there yet. As a University of Michigan student, I did my classroom observation at Huron. When I happened upon Mrs. Thompson, she encouraged me to become her student teacher, despite the fact that she had decided not to do it again. And so, I did. Madeleine is still my inspiration as I enter my 25th year of teaching English. My own mother died August 12, 2007. In a strange...

As budget manager for Huron High School I worked with Madeleine on her school newspaper account. I will always remember her gentle spirit, bright eyes, and smiling face each time she entered my office. She was always the same. Madeleine will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on through the memory of those whose lives she graced. I am so happy to have known her. Please accept my heartfelt condolances for your loss.

Mrs. Thompson made me smile everyday. Her humor always kept me listening. She was always elegant

Mads,
Thanks for being awesomely positive, endlessly helpful, and tremendously kind. Rest peacefully.

Madeleine was my colleague and friend when we taught together at Huron High. She was unfailingly cheerful and dedicated to giving her students her best. I am saddened by her untimely death. She deserved a long and healthy retired life.

I cannot tell you how saddened I was to hear that Madeleine passed away. I had worked with her at Huron for the past 18 years and I honestly can say that I don't think that I ever saw her in a bad mood. She truly loved teaching, her students, and her Huron High family. I will miss her greatly.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Mrs. Thompson's passing. She is the reason I read as much as I do to this day. She inspired every student to seek as much knowledge as they possibly could. We will all miss you.

It is with great sadness that I write this note. Ms. Thompson taught my three daughters Humanities and English. We all loved her and will miss her. To the family that she left behind-may you know no more sadness in your life.
